Snowmobile & ATV Rentals in New Hampshire

New Hampshire welcomes you to rent a snowmobile or ATV and discover its stunning vistas

New Hampshire calls itself The Granite State partly because people there delight in the rugged White Mountains and Presidential Range, with their many ridges and cliff faces of exposed granite. Reading this should be enough temptation for anyone who has considered renting a snowmobile, or, in the summer, an ATV, to explore the back country of this monumental place. Many companies rent out snowmobiles to newcomers to the sport, along with all the clothing, gear, instruction, and encouragement they need to hit the trails. Trails for the sleek machines – called “sleds” by insiders – are cast across the landscape in a network proudly maintained by the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association. If you are very interested but still wary, note that some rental companies offer guided tours, in which a seasoned driver takes the guest out for an introductory ride and overview of the sled’s operations and the countryside. Driving these machines is an absolute thrill, and people need not be deterred by the expense and maintenance of actually owning a sled. On the flip side, in the warm seasons, come to New Hampshire and rent an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) or utility terrain vehicle (UTV) and give yourself shivers at the beauty of the back country, far from roads and crowds.

Stay in the canopy on the tree-to-tree Tree Top tour or soar above it on the Sky Rider tour with higher, longer, faster lines, extreme tree platforms and sky bridges. Over at Thrillsville, take a self-guided adventure course that includes bridges, cargo nets, rope ladders, zip lines and a tree house. And, finally, there’s the Off-Road tour, where you scale to the top of Barron Mountain in a six-wheel-drive vehicle that acts like a low-speed roller coaster.
