July 11 -- “The Princess and the Pea.” The lonely Prince wants to marry, but the King and Queen insist on a suitable bride. A mysterious girl has just arrived in the middle of a terrible storm; could she be the real princess?
July 18 -- “Beauty and the Beast.” A magical rose, a beautiful girl, and a "hideous" beast are just three of several charming characters in one of the most enchanting fairy tales ever written. “Excalibur! ” "Whoso pulleth out this Sword of this Stone and Anvil is rightwise born King of England." Young Arthur learns his true destiny.
August 1 -- “Rikki Tikki Tavi.” A mischievous young mongoose has been adopted by a family living in India, but when two angry Cobras appear looking for trouble, Rikki learns how to be a hero.
August 8 -- “George and the Dragon.” A monstrous dragon is terrorizing the countryside! (Only he's not really a monster at all.)
August 15 -- “Cinderella.” The classic rags-to-riches story of a girl who dared to dream, a Fairy Godmother who makes it all possible, a very charming Prince, and one dazzling glass slipper.

Washington Auto Road will open early on three Sundays in 2014 -- June 22, July 27, and August 31 -- to allow guests to drive themselves to the summit of Mount Washington to view the sunrise from the highest peak in the Northeast. Regular rates and vehicle restrictions apply. The State Park building will be open with limited food service on all three of these mornings. The Mt Washington Auto Road is located on NH Route 16 in Pinkham Notch, New Hampshire, 12 miles north of Jackson and 8 miles south of Gorham.
